SIMPLE COLORISATION TUTORIAL.
first and foremost,
open a file,
the picture that you want to do the colorisation on.

next,
choosing a combination of suitable colors,
add a layer(i labeled it as 'gradient' in this case).
the colors which you are using varies.
it depends on what effect do ya want to give it.
i chose earthy colors so as to achieve a serpia feeling.

then,
make sure you are in the 'gradient' layer.
click on the 'gradient tool' and spread it across the layer.
this is how it will look like.

afterward,
modify the layer blending change to color.

followed by,
adjust its opacity level to 73% so that the gradient is well-blended with the background.

and then,
i added brushesworks to the picture to spice it up.
similarly,i added a new layer and named it 'deco'.
i fiddled with the opacity level of the brushes so that it fits.

subsequently,
i added another new layer and labeled it as 'deco 2'
this time,i amended the opacity level of the brushes back to 100%,the maximum.
gave the picture a lil grungy feel.

at last,for the final touch-up.
i made a duplicate of the background layer,as seen.
i added pattern brushes to it.

TATAAA,the long wait is over.
click 'flatten picture' to merge all the layers together.
